The City of Grand Rapids desires a one-year contract, with two, one-year renewal options for “as needed” non-warranty industrial mechanical services for the City’s Water Recovery Resource Facility (WRRF), as per the specifications contained herein. Service work shall be ordered on a job-order processing basis from qualified and experienced Contractors. The City desires services from local Contractors (defined as companies not more than 60-miles from downtown Grand Rapids). Requests for services will be non-capital related projects and similar to maintenance, repairs, and operation (MRO) projects on an “as needed” basis. The City reserves the right to award a single contract or multiple contracts, if it deems it is in the City’s best interest.

The following licenses shall be held and kept current by the Contractor or Contractor’s employees at all times during the life of the contract.
A. Master Plumber license
B. Mechanical Contractor license:
Shall include but not be limited to:
• Hydronic heating and cooling, including unit heaters
• Ductwork
C. Certified Welder:
• Stainless steel, steel, cast iron, ductile iron, copper
