Bids are requested for a one-year term contract with, two one-year renewal options for towing services for disabled, abandoned, or other vehicles and equipment as requested by the City of Grand Rapids Police Department, Impound Lot, and Fleet Management Department as per the specifications contained herein and per all Michigan Motor Vehicle Codes and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Requirements.
On-Site Inspection:
An on-site inspection of equipment and probable service areas for verification of scope of project shall be completed by each bidder. The following Project Managers may be contacted for appointments for the on-site inspection:

Abandoned/Disabled Vehicles: Lenee Brooks at 616-456-3040
Prior to submitting bids for their work, the Contractor may examine the equipment and probable service areas and satisfy themselves as to the existing conditions under which they shall be obligated to operate, or that in any way affects the work under this contract. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection, on behalf of the Contractor for any negligence on their part.
