Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk’s office located in the City Hall Building, Hillsdale, Michigan 49242 until 2 p.m. local time, on February 25th, 2021, and at that time will be publicly opened and read aloud for:
CONTRACT NO. 020-00414-01 INDUSTRIAL SUBSTATION
GENERAL AND ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION
Complete general and electrical construction to install the furnished equipment of One (1) Prefabricated Building/Protected Aisle switchgear building, Four (4) banks of single phase 15 kV voltage regulators and Voltage Regulator structures. This installation will increase the number of 15 kV feeders connected to the 13.2 kV Industrial Substation Feeder distribution system using the 15 kV protected aisle switchgear breaker lineup and 15 kV voltage regulators. The Prefabricated Building/Protected Aisle switchgear building will be located on piers within the Hillsdale-Industrial substation adjacent to Uran Street and Hine Drive. The Voltage Regulator Yard will be constructed adjacent to the south side of the Industrial Substation. The Voltage Regulator Yard will connect to the Protected Aisle switchgear via underground cable. There will be four (4) 15 kV risers leaving the yard. The property for the Voltage regulator yard is currently a field owned by the City of Hillsdale, Michigan.
