INTRODUCTION

The City of Holland “City” is requesting proposals from qualified banking institutions “Bank” to provide various banking services, as described herein. The City’s current contract expires at the end of calendar year 2021 and the City desires to enter into a five-year contract, with the option to renew thereafter for a mutually agreed upon term. The City also serves as Fiscal Agent for Herrick District Library (HDL) and Macatawa Area Express (MAX) Transportation Authority and seeks proposals that extend the same terms to those entities.
In addition, the City is requesting an optional proposal for a purchasing card program. The objective is to identify the banking institution(s) that can offer the most comprehensive services at the most competitive rates.

The City of Holland officially distributes bid documents through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) website https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn/cityofholland and through the Bids and RFPs page on the City’s website www.cityofholland.com.

An electronic or one hard-copy submission of your proposal must be received by the City of Holland no later than 11 a.m. on October 29, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Proposers accept all risks of late delivery of mailed proposals, regardless of fault. Proposals arriving after the deadline will not be considered. Hard-copy proposals must be clearly marked “Banking Services Proposal” and mailed or delivered to:

Late proposals will not be considered. Amendments to proposals will be considered only if they are received by the above deadline. A corporate official legally authorized to bind the bank must sign the proposal.
