TO: PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
RE: Applying fertilizer, weed and grub control to designated city parks and properties as specified hereafter.
The City of Holland will receive sealed bids from prospective bidders to apply fertilizer, weed and grub control to designated city parks and properties as specified hereafter. Generally, there are four applications to parks and city properties unless noted. Square footage listed by the City of Holland is an estimate only and it is the contractor’s responsibility to verify actual square footage for bidding purposes.
The Contract Administrator is Deputy Director of Parks and Cemeteries, Jamie Scott. He can be contacted at (616) 928-2460, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The bids will be received by the FINANCE OFFICE IN THE CITY HALL BUILDING, 270 RIVER AVE., HOLLAND, MICHIGAN until 11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 10th, 2025 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. You are invited, but not required, to attend said bid opening.
This bid package is for calendar years 2025 and 2026 only. This is a multi-year bid. Please list pricing for all applications at each location as specified on the bid form. The City of Holland and the Holland BPW reserve the right to choose to service all locations on the bid form or choose those with the highest priority due to budget and pricing constraints.
Bids must be on the “BID FORM” provided and be submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked “Turf Contractual Services”.
