Description

The County of Livingston, Michigan (The County) has two camera systems and three door access and control systems throughout the County that are used to manage and secure its facilities. The County is looking to consolidate to a single system for door secure access controls as well as security camera systems. The County has had Avigilon systems as one platform for the door access and security cameras, in some locations, and would like to standardize and integrate all access control and security video on the Avigilon platform countywide. Livingston County will use the results of this process to award a 5-year base contract term with no anticipated renewal period options at the discretion of the County, based on annual performance reviews.

Pre-Proposal Meeting & Walk Through (Mandatory)
A site visit of several locations throughout the County, will be held November 27, 2023, beginning at 9:00a.m. Review of all locations will take about four (4) to five (5) hours. Attendance at the site visit is mandatory. Responses received from vendors who did not attend the site visit will not be considered. Bidders should plan to meet promptly at 9:00 a.m. beginning at EMS, 1911 Tooley Rd , Howell, MI 48855 which is the first location. Attendees will be driving to the remaining locations from here.

Vendors should plan to bring wheels, or whatever they need for measuring cable runs to the walkthrough for accuracy in design.

Although questions may be asked at the Pre-Proposal Meeting, Vendors are encouraged to submit these questions in writing as well, to ensure the most complete and accurate responses can be provided. Only the questions submitted in writing during the Q&A period and the responses provided via RFP addendum, will be considered official.
