Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids will be received by the Cedar Lake Improvement Board (Owner) at the office of the Livingston County Drain Commissioner, 2300 E. Grand River Ave, Suite 105, Howell, MI 48843 until 4:00 pm local time on Friday, December 18, 2015 for the Cedar Lake Aeration project.
The Cedar Lake Improvement Board desires to reduce the thickness of the lake sediments in Cedar Lake and improve water quality with the use of laminar flow aeration with possible bio augmentation. The recommendation to proceed with the improvements was based on a feasibility study of the lake that was conducted in 2014.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 pm on December 4, 2015, at the Livingston County Drain Commissioner’s Office in conference room D. Representatives of the Owner and the Owner’s Lake Management Consultant will be present to discuss the project.
The feasibility report and the bid documents are currently available through the Livingston County Drain Commissioner’s website. All addenda will also be posted to this website: https://www.livgov.com/drain/Pages/cedarlake.aspx.
The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids or waive irregularities in bids.
