Description

Livingston Essential Transportation Service (LETS) provides curb-to-curb public transit service for any person to any destination countywide with regional medical service to surrounding counties. LETS is an advanced reservation (dial-a-ride) service with limited demand-response service when schedule allows.

LETS seeks to replace/advance its current dispatch and operations software; and add mobile software and hardware in our 42 buses to collect data. This would include scheduling, dispatch, GPS, Automatic Vehicle Locater (AVL), mobile data terminals (MDT’S), and web portal technology and Ride Share App. for customer scheduling, for door-to-door transit services. This project will be managed by LETS with a startup date of January 1, 2025 with a target completion date of May 1, 2025. It is anticipated that software renewals will be completed on an as-needed basis for the useable life of the installed software for a minimum of 5 years. This is a five (5) year contract at the discretion of the County, based on satisfactory performance.
