You are hereby invited to submit sealed proposals to furnish Midland County Mosquito Control (MCMC) with aerial insecticide larviciding services for the season of 2022.
Sealed proposals will be publicly opened at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the first floor conference room, Midland County Services Building, 220 W Ellsworth St, Midland, Michigan. Each proposal should be clearly marked “AERIAL INSECTICIDE LARVICIDING SERVICES” to assure the proposal is not lost, misplaced or opened early; the name and address of the vendor must also be on the outside of the envelope.
It will be the responsibility of each vendor to assure that their proposals as submitted are complete as outlined in the General Proposal Instructions and that all items proposal meet minimum specifications. ANY PROPOSALS RECEIVED THAT DO NOT MEET MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED.
All parties submitting proposals hereby understand and acknowledge that such proposals to the County of Midland are with recognition that the County of Midland is or may be receiving other offers and that the County of Midland reserves the right to accept the lowest and/or best offer, as well as the right, in its sole option, to reject any and all offers or to waive any formality or technicality in any offer for any reason or no reason. Proposers agree to these understandings in making their offer and confirm specifically that offerors agree that even if their offer is the lowest, it may not be accepted by the County of Midland.
