Midland County Department of Parks and Recreation (“County”) is seeking Request for Proposals (“RFP”) from highly qualified Design Build Teams interested in providing complete Design Build Services for the Pere Marquette Rail Trail (“Project”).
Request for Proposals shall only be submitted in the format described in the RFP. Proposal Respondents must comply with all of the terms of this RFP and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The County may reject any proposal that does not comply with all of the terms, conditions, and performance requirements of this RFP.
One (1) hard copy original in a binder and one (1) electronic version consisting of single locked .pdf file exactly matching the hard copy version on USB drive shall be submitted to Midland County’s Official Point of Contact no later than 2:00 pm on 5/19//21.
Proposers are solely responsible to ensure that the proposal has been received by the RFP Main Point of Contact prior to the deadline for receipt of submittals. Proposer is solely responsible for properly labeling, mailing and/or hand-delivering of Proposal. Late Request for Proposals shall not be accepted, nor shall additional time be granted to any potential Proposers.
Proposers must be licensed by the State of Michigan as a Professional Engineer and possess insurance coverages acceptable to as defined herein.
Proposer, their consultants, sub-consultants, or other parties representing the Proposer for this solicitation may not contact any member of the County Selection Panel concerning this project from the date of advertisement until after the date of award.
The County reserves the right to review the proposed Design Build Team and reject any subconsultants and/or subcontractors identified to be part of the Design Build Team due to poor past performance.
The County, at its sole discretion, may reject any and all Request for Proposals or to cancel this RFP in its entirety.
