RFP-15-05 Drinking Water Sampling - COUNTY OF OTTAWA RFP 15-05 DRINKING WATER SAMPLING

Summary of Specifications:
Ottawa County is soliciting proposals for qualifications from consultants to: Pick up drinking water samples from the Environmental Health Office at 12251 James St, Holland, MI 49424 and test water samples for Coliform/E. Coli, presence/absence, Partial Chemistry (Iron, Sodium, Fluoride, Nitrate, Nitrite, Chloride, Sulfate, Hardness) and Lead. It is a requirement that this Department be able to collect Friday samples, with samples collected and ready for pickup by 4 p.m., and have those samples analyzed within acceptable hold times. It would be expected that bacteria, nitrate/nitrate results would be available within 36 hours of the samples being picked up at our office and remaining partial chemistry results provided once completed. Lead samples would be run once they are received with sample results sent over the same day the results and QA/QC are verified. Due to turnaround times required for our service and sample hold times, pickup of samples every day (morning or afternoon) would be a necessary part of this bid.
