RFP-10-10 - Enterprise Resource Planning Consultant

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Ottawa is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified vendors for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consulting services to develop an RFQ for an ERP financial software. Additional phases may include RFP preparation, vendor selection, and project management. 

The County currently has the New World ERP system on our AS400.platform It was purchased in 1990 and we have consistently loaded and tested all of the upgrades to date. The County has the General Ledger, Budget Management, Accounts Payable, Project/Grant Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets modules. The Budget module is relatively underutilized at this time. The Human Resources’ modules are Payroll, Advanced Personnel, Position Control and Applicant Tracking. The Human resource modules, except for Payroll, are not being used at the present time. 

The objective is to create a Request For Information (RFI) or a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for an upgraded system that will use Windows or .NET technology.
