Description

The Ottawa County Building Authority (herein after “Building Authority”), is soliciting experienced and
qualified professional teams together to design and build a facility that will serve Ottawa County
residents for several decades. This building project will follow Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) practices.
Responses to this request for proposal (RFP) should be made by teams composed of architectural firms, construction firms, and 3-5 key suppliers of goods and services needed to fulfill the project. The Building Authority will select the team based on best value together to design and build the Ottawa County Family Justice Center to be located at 12220 Fillmore Street, West Olive, Michigan, 49460.

The RFP will be administered in two phases. Phase 1 will consist of a preliminary evaluation of the
proposed IPD team’s technical qualifications and experience with IPD projects. It is the Building
Authority’s intention to develop a short list of finalists who will be invited to continue on to Phase 2 of the selection process. Phase 2 will include face-to-face presentations to the selection team and responses to illustrative issues which are common in design and construction projects.
