Summary of Specifications:
a.This Bid Package outlines the installation, functional and performance requirements for a complete fiber optic network to connect three locations owned by St. Clair County. All of the locations are located within the limits of the county of St. Clair, Michigan. b.Bid Submittal may include both Aerial and Buried options. The options will be considered independently. c.Bid Submittal Includes: All Labor, materials, tools, transportation services, supervision, coordination, planning, engineering, etc. necessary to provide and install a fully functional fiber optic network cabling system, as described in this specification and on the associated drawings. The system includes, but is not limited to the following: i.Fiber Optic Cabling - (FOC) – sufficient FOC to provide network connectivity from all designated fiber terminations in the facilities via the paths indicated in the attached route map. ii.Wiring schematics provided with the drawings are intended to represent design intent only and are not to be considered actual wiring details. d.The Contractor shall provide proof of personnel trained and certified in installation of the fiber optic cabling, splicing, and termination and testing techniques.
