Summary of Specifications:
St. Clair County, Michigan (County) is seeking proposals for the management and operation of the new St. Clair County Convention Center (CONVENTION CENTER). Additionally, in collaboration with the McMorran Civic Center Authority (MCCA), the County also seeks proposals that would include management and operation of McMorran Place (MCMORRAN) in downtown Port Huron. The County intends to evaluate options relating to the contracting of private management of the CONVENTION CENTER alone, as well as an alternative that would include management of both the CONVENTION CENTER and MCMORRAN under a single contract. The management of the Convention Center will include collaboration with the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel and the Freighter’s restaurant, which will adjoin the CONVENTION CENTER.
