37-18-011 - Construction Management Services - Funded Projects

For the purpose of providing construction management services for activities that it implements directly or over which it has oversight responsibilities as a result of accepting external grant funding. 

Wayne County serves as the recipient of certain federal and state funds which it uses to implement activities that improve the living environment of County residents either by direct implementation or passing the funds through to subrecipient communities while maintaining responsibility to provide direction and conduct monitoring for compliance with the regulations governing the use of the funds.  Contractor will provide construction management services for activities that it implements directly or over which it has oversight responsibilities as a result of accepting external grant funding.  Review and analyze projects to determine Davis Bacon, Section 3 and Environmental Review requirements and ensures compliance with same.
