Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Procurement Division, on behalf of the Executive Branch agencies of the County of Wayne, along with participation at their discretion from the Legislative and Judicial branches (collectively referred hereinafter as “Wayne County”), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide services relating to records destruction (shredding, recycling, etc.) on-site and off-site. Although Wayne County intends to select a single supplier to provide services, in the best interests of Wayne County, the Division reserves the right to award to multiple suppliers who may serve various government entities.
The award will be for three (3) years with the potential for two (2) one-year extensions in accordance with the terms of this RFP. An award will result in a Master Agreement with a price sheet, (listed herein in Attachment A) available to all County agencies, with the same terms and conditions proposed in response to the RFP to be offered to all branches of Wayne County government.
The Master Agreement, including pricing, between Wayne County and a qualified supplier shall be to provide services or goods at an agreed maximum rate or cost as needs arise in the future. There is no guarantee of any level of purchasing activity on behalf of Wayne County.
