Summary of Specifications:
The Charter County of Wayne, hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein, to submit proposals for the design, provision, implementation and support of an Electronic Document and Imaging, Indexing and Archival Management System, (EDIM) including workstations, related peripherals, server/storage; system hardware, conversion and migration services/management. The ideal system should provide for the real-time processing of the various records maintained and managed by the Wayne County Clerk. This Project is under the auspices of the Wayne County Clerk (the Clerk); and involves among other things, the tasks of system design, development, deployment, maintenance and support. The project’s scope also includes a comprehensive assessment of the County Clerk’s current record keeping environment and making the appropriate recommendations with regard to all IT requirements needed for the successful implementation of the system and its future growth. The Clerk is, therefore, looking for a qualified Imaging and Document Management Vendor, versed in the areas of recording, document management, imaging, indexing, workflows, etc., preferably, in the county/local government, courts and state environment. The goal of the RFP process is in part; to help the Clerk to identify the Vendor/Solution that will best meet the current and long-term functional and technical requirement goals of the Clerk’s Records Management and Archival Operations.
