Summary of Specifications:
Public Act 123 of 1999, as amended, MCL 211.78 et seq. (Act 123), authorizes the Wayne County Treasurer (“County Treasurer”) to foreclose on tax-delinquent properties which were forfeited to the County Treasurer under MCL 211.78g. Pursuant to Act 123, the County Treasurer is required to mail tax delinquency, forfeiture and foreclosure notices to persons entitled to notice under Act 123.
Pursuant to Wayne County Ordinance, the Purchasing Director for the County of Wayne is soliciting proposals, on behalf of the County Treasurer, from mailing/scanning service companies or individuals who are qualified pursuant to the terms of this Request for Proposals (RFP) for future mailing and scanning services in conjunction with the tax foreclosure procedures of Act 123.
The mailing and scanning services provided and the costs, fees and expenses associated with these services are governed by the terms and conditions of the Contract agreed to by the parties.
