RFP-37-13-079 - Process Services

Summary of Specifications:
Public Act 123 of 1999, as amended, MCL 211.78 et seq. (Act 123), authorizes the Wayne County Treasurer (“County Treasurer”) to foreclose on tax-delinquent properties which were forfeited to the County Treasurer under MCL 211.78g. Pursuant to Act 123, the County Treasurer is required to visit, inspect, serve or post required notices on forfeited property, in compliance with Act 123. 

Pursuant to Wayne County Ordinance, the Purchasing Director for the County of Wayne is soliciting proposals, on behalf of the County Treasurer, from process service companies or individuals who are qualified pursuant to the terms of this RFP for future service of process services in conjunction with the tax foreclosure procedures of Act 123.
