Description

Through this RFI (Request for Information) the Charter County of Wayne hereby invites businesses who meet the specifications set forth to submit proposals for the purpose of identifying or determining a more efficient and cost effective (or possibly at no cost) meal distribution and delivery to 2,500 homebound senior citizens in the 34 communities of Western Wayne County and Downriver.

The current solution relies on volunteers for meal delivery and the County wants to explore an alternative solution in preparation for the RFP advertisement in 2022.
