RFP-37-15-050 - Secure Residential Services

Summary of Specifications:
Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Charter County of Wayne (County) hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit proposals to provide a high security residential detention and longitudinal treatment facility, located within Wayne County, for adjudicated juvenile offenders. The Contractor may be required to provide secure short-term residential detention services for male and female juveniles who are under the jurisdiction of Circuit Court and/or the Wayne County Department of Children and Family Services (CFS). The Contractor shall provide secure, longitudinal residential treatment care for juveniles court ordered to CFS. The facility and grounds must be located at a single site/self-contained campus. A specific number of beds will be designated for behavioral health care services for sex-offenders (impulse control disorders) and juveniles with substance abuse problems. Chronic and violent juvenile offenders must be served by the facility, including juveniles adjudicated/convicted on a Class I, II or III level assaultive felony. “PLEASE REVIEW THE FORMAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS.
