37-21-127-A - Upfitting Dump Trucks

The Contractor must design, manufacture and deliver the upfit for the following:
1. Twelve (12) 5.0 Cubic Yard 2021 or Current Model Year Crew Cab Dump Trucks
2. Sixteen (16) 10.0 Cubic Yard 2021 or Current Model Year Crew Cab Dump Trucks.

Specifications were modified from “or approved equal” to “no exceptions” for the following:
1. Crysteel 10 ft. and 12 ft. Select Dump Body (Appendices C and D, Section 3.a)
2. Crysteel Roller-Combo RC860 and RC690 Underbody Hoist (Appendices C and D, Section 3.b)
3. Bosch Rexroth Compu-Spread CS550 Controller (Appendices C and D, Section 3.f).

All Upfitted Dump Trucks must incorporate all County DPS specifications herein with the Bidder's (i.e., manufacturer's) existing standard product and standard factory equipment.

Chassis to be provided by Wayne County.

The County is purchasing 28 Dump Trucks initially and anticipates ordering 72 Dump Trucks total over the entire Contract Term. Some of the 72 total Dump Trucks will be added to this contract.
