Summary of Specifications:
Wayne County will award a contract to manage locations throughout the County to contract with a waste disposal company for waste disposal and recycling services. Wayne County will also competitively pre-qualify Vendors in the category of Waste Removal & Recycle services. The general objectives of this solicitation are the following: 1. support local waste removal & recycle service Vendors

2. reduce the cost of waste removal & recycle services to taxpayers and governmental entities 3. create contract vehicles that will enhance operational efficiencies

The specific objectives of the solicitation are the following:

1. Develop and establish service levels and operating hours that are responsive to the needs of the employees, students, clients and community.   2. Develop an innovative and effective waste pickup, removal & recycle services program.   3. Develop reporting systems that meet the needs and expectations of Wayne County. 4. Develop a long- term positive working partnership with the Vendor and its employees.
