37-20-001 - Youth Assistance Program

The Charter County of Wayne hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit proposals for the purpose of providing prevention, diversion and treatment services for children and adolescents using blended funds.  The Wayne County Department of Health, Human and Veterans Services (HHVS) is committed to the prevention of unnecessary out-of-home placements by providing program activities to Wayne County youth that have experienced an informal contact with the Family  Division of the Third Judicial Circuit Court.  This program is termed “Youth Assistance Program”.  This RFP is to enhance, expand or initiate new In-Home Care (IHC) program activities that support HHVS’s commitment to prevent unnecessary out –of-home placement for Wayne County youth. Each successful Proposer (contractor) shall provide, or arrange by subcontract, for the program activities that support HHVS’s commitment to prevent unnecessary out-of-home placement for Wayne County youth.
