Description

Delta College has an existing 6,700 square foot recreational pool with four lap lanes, zero-depth entry, current channel, slide plunge area and springboard area. The pool construction is reinforced concrete with plaster and Marcite surface holding approximately 180,000 gallons for water. Since the original construction in 2002, the pool is drained annually for maintenance. Annual maintenance included cleaning the surface and spot patching delaminated areas. Over time, the surface has become very rough and spot repairs more frequent, causing an unsightly appearance and physical irritation to patrons. Delta College is accepting proposals to provide new surface for the pool.
