Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the Authority to secure Proposals in response to this is RFP for the provision of experienced and expert professional architectural and engineering consulting Services to assist the Authority with the evaluation, assessment, determination, development, definition, documentation, procurement and construction of Strategic Facility Infrastructure Improvements and Upgrades to the Cobo Convention and Conference Center located at One Washington Boulevard, Detroit, Michigan 48226. The Authority is seeking the submission of priced Proposals by the invited Primary Respondents, using the Proposal Form included in Section 6 of this RFP, to provide the AE Services necessary and incidental to completing the Tasks enumerated on the Proposal Form. The Tasks specify various professional architectural and engineering Services to be performed by the selected Primary Respondent with the collective purpose of 1.) Part A - advising and assisting the Authority in the development of a comprehensive Infrastructure Strategy for Facility improvements, upgrades and expansion consistent with the Authority’s approved Strategic Business Plan recommendations relative to capital infrastructure improvements, upgrades and expansion, and 2.) Part B - designing and engineering complete plans and specifications including AE construction administration for the procurement and construction of Authority Board approved Phase II Immediate Needs Projects.
