DWS-916 - Sewer Improvements at Piety Hill, Virginia Park, New Center Commons, Brewster et

The work consists of the rehabilitation and replacement of approximately 30,815 LF of 6-inch to 75-inch sewer and manholes by external point repairs, trenchless point repairs, and CIPP lining.  The work also includes approximately 18,536 LF of 6-inch to 78-inch of sewer cleaning without subsequent rehabilitation.  In addition, the work includes the installation of 24 new manholes, eight new catch basins, and cleaning and repair of 76 manholes.

The work is focused among select residential streets within Piety Hill, Virginia Park, New Center Commons, Brewster Homes and Brewster Douglass.  All labor, equipment, and material for the entire work shall be furnished by the Contractor. The Bidder hereby agrees to perform all work assigned by the Engineer no matter where located, at the Unit Prices established in the Bid Schedule. 

The Bidder agrees that any work including unmarked underground utilities that may be required to complete any specific item shall be considered incidental and no claim for additional compensation will be made. 
Any work adjacent to any Wayne County and MDOT road jurisdictions shall be in accordance with the requirements of the Wayne County and MDOT Authorities respectively. 

The Project has an expected duration of 365 calendar days.

State Revolving Fund:  Please be advised that this is a State of Michigan State Revolving Fund (SRF project 5688-01).  In addition, federal requirements must be met for American Iron and Steel, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), and Davis-Bacon. The relevant forms are in Appendix H.
