Sole Source Justification: NMS is the only private laboratory accredited by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology, ANSI-ASQ and the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors. NMS is the only private laboratory that provides literature based, reference data and clinical case discussions in its reports.
Purpose of This Notice of Proposed Sole Source Posting:
The intent of this posting is to verify with the vendor community that this proposed purchase is indeed a valid sole source.
Provider Criteria:
Providers must be accredited by the following organizations:

American Board of Toxicology
ANSI-ASQ
American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors

Providers must also provide the following:
Embedding of reference data into individual laboratory reports including a description of normal and abnormal findings in the samples along with etiology, acceptable level ranges and cause and effect of abnormal values.
