Site improvements to include pavement reconstruction; pavement striping; grading; new fire suppression line; fencing; lighting; signage; drainage improvement; and landscaping. Building improvements consist of two additions totaling 11,060 s.f. and major renovations to the existing 18,640 s.f. facility. Work shall be phased to accommodate the County’s continued use of the facility and will include all trades.

At this time only the notice of the project is available. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Genesee County Animal Shelter Multi-Purpose Room, 4351 Pasadena Avenue, Flint Michigan 48504, followed by a tour of the target space on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT). All bidders and sub-contractors are encouraged to attend this pre-bid meeting. This will be the only opportunity for bidders to examine the target area scheduled for the renovation work. At this meeting, the bid documents will be reviewed with the opportunity to clarify any questions relative to the project scope.
