RFP-CC-15-052 - Trail Design and Engineering Services for GXPRC

Summary of Specifications:
The Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking the submittal of preliminary engineering and trail design services for the submittal of grants to local foundations, the Michigan Department of Transportation Enhancement Program, Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund, and National and Scenic By-Ways Program as well as other non-motorized trail funding sources that may arise. All Preliminary engineering and trail design services should meet American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Standards and design guidelines for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and take into consideration local site conditions as well as adjacent land uses in trail design. Engineering Services include, but are not limited to, the preparation of preliminary design plans, cost estimates, materials list, specifications, and special provisions. Engineering Services may also include right-of-way evaluation, and preparation of acquisitions documents, surveying, testing and field investigation necessary to ascertain existing conditions to complete the design of the project.
