REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL 2014-2015 As-Needed Professional Services
The Grand Traverse County Road Commission (GTCRC) is seeking professional services for various projects. Projects may be added or deleted as needed. Survey services on these projects may be included in this contract. If your firm is interested in providing services, please indicate your interest by submitting a proposal.
Consultants and their sub-consultants shall be experienced in MDOT road design/stream crossing replacement, topographical surveys, construction layout and record survey. Submittal shall be limited to 1-2 pages of description of how the company can best provide services for Grand Traverse County Road Commission, as well as resumes of one or two Professional Engineers with MDOT road design/stream crossing experience that would be the lead designer(s) that are proposed to provide assistance to the county on an as-needed basis.
The consultant(s) will be selected using a quality-based selection process. The selection team will review the information submitted and will select the firm considered most qualified to perform the services based on the proposals. The selected vendor(s) will be contacted to confirm capacity. Upon confirmation, negotiations will be conducted with the firm(s) selected. This contract may be extended for additional years upon approval by both parties.
The Grand Traverse County Road Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 200d-4 Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
