The Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office is requesting bids for the purchase of an Unmanned Aerial System and Thermal Imaging Sensor to be used in our agencies Law Enforcement Division. At this time, we are seeking bids to purchase a Matrice 210 and Zenmuse XT2 Sensor. Details of the specifications for these items is attached. Sealed bids should be submitted to: Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office Attention: Lieutenant Chris Barsheff 851 Woodmere Avenue Traverse City, MI 49686 Bid envelopes should be clearly marked “UAS/Sensor Bid”. The deadline for receipt of these bids is 5:00pm on Monday, December 10, 2018. Opening of said bids shall take place at 9:00am on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Captain Clark’s office. Bids will become public information upon opening. The County of Grand Traverse and the Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office are not committed to accept the low bid, and further reserve the right to reject any and all bids in the best interest of the county. Bids are subject to review and final acceptance by the Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners. All quoted prices must be a final price and not subject to change. Bids must be valid for 120 days upon opening and deliverable within the specified time period. Actual bid award and placement of the UAS/Sensor order can be expected no later than December 20, 2018. Delivery of items must be prompt upon order.
