The Charter Township of Grand Blanc, Genesee County Michigan through the
Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking sealed proposals for roofing repairs at
the Grand Blanc Senior Center. All proposals must be received by Friday September
23rd, 2022 at 2PM in person at Grand Blanc Township Hall 5371 South Saginaw Street,
Grand Blanc, MI 48507 or by mail at PO Box 1833, Grand Blanc, MI 48480. Sealed bids
will be opened and read aloud at 2PM. Please label bid packages "Senior Center
Roofing Repair Project".
Principal Scope:
• Removal of flat roof membrane on awning
• Removal of decking
• Removal of fascia, drip edge and gutter
• Removal and replacement of 4 feet of shingles on the north edge to allow
for PVC single ply membrane installation
• Install decking
• Install sloped insulation
• Install PVC single ply membrane.
• Membrane should be installed a minimum of 4 feet up the currently
slopes.
• Install matching shingles
• Install fascia, drip edges and gutters as needed
The above referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. All successful bidders must comply
with federal labor standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Antikickback
legislation; federal equal opportunity requirements; and Section 3 of the
Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Minority/Women/Handicapped business
