Sealed Proposals will be received by The Charter Township of Grand Blanc, Genesee County Michigan, for the Grand Blanc Senior Center Roof Replacement, located at 12632 Pagels Drive, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Proposals will be received in person at Grand Blanc Township Hall, 5371 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI 48507 until 2:00 pm, September 19, 2024, or by mail addressed to Dave Robertson, Township Clerk at 5371 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI 48507. Please label bid packages “Senior Center Roof Replacement.” All bids received will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Township auditorium at 5371 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI 48507 at 2:00 pm, September 19, 2024.
Proposals are solicited on the basis of a lump sum price for all labor and material required to complete the project as designed and specified in the contract.
The principal items of work include:
- Removal of existing asphalt shingles on the Senior Center and detached garage.
- Install new asphalt shingles on the Senior Center and detached garage.
- Senior Center is approximately 10,500 square feet in area
- Detached garage is approximately 1,220 square feet in area
The above referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the U.S. Department of the Treasury Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). All successful bidders must comply with federal labor standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Anti-Kickback legislation and federal equal opportunity requirements.
