SIDEWALK REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
The Charter Township of Grand Blanc, Genesee County Michigan through the Department of Parks and
Recreation is seeking sealed proposals for sidewalk and sub-base replacement at the Grand Blanc Senior
Center. All proposals must be received by August 5th, 2022 at 2PM in person at Grand Blanc Township
hall 5371 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI 48507 or by mail at PO Box 1833, Grand Blanc, MI
48480. Sealed bids will be opened and read aloud at 2PM. Please label bid packages "Senior Center
Sidewalk Removal and Replacement Project"..
Principal Scope:
• Removal of existing sidewalk
• Removal of sub-base
• Replacement of sub-base
• Install 1,770 square feet of sidewalk
The above referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974. All successful bidders must comply with federal labor standards,
including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Anti- kickback legislation; federal equal opportunity
requirements; and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968.
Minority/Women/Handicapped business owned enterprises (MBE/WBE/HBE) and Section 3 business
concerns seeking bid opportunities under this Project Notice are encouraged to respond.
Grand Blanc Charter Township reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive
any irregularities in any bid, in the best interest of the Township.
