Purpose and Background
The Gratiot County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) has been awarded funding from the State Land Bank Authority (SLBA) Blight Elimination Program (Round 3) for the acquisition and stabilization of a building at 137 N. Mill Street, St Louis, Gratiot County, State of Michigan (Parcel #53-010-128-30) contingent upon stabilization results of engineering services. The GCLBA would like to receive a proposal for Engineering Services which includes these items below and any other items you deem necessary.
Scope of Services Requested
The selected Contractor shall prepare construction drawings, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and anything else you deem necessary to stabilize 137 N. Mill Street, St. Louis, Michigan. Final construction documents must be certified by a licensed professional engineer or architect and an appropriate seal must be affixed to these documents.
Qualification Requirements
o Be a licensed architect or licensed engineer with an active license in the State of Michigan.
o Have experience, knowledge, and expertise in large-scale commercial properties
Additional Building Documents Upon Request
Additional building documents are available upon request: Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, Existing Condition Report, and partial building floor plan.
Site Visit
There will be non-mandatory site visits on: Monday, September 30, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. EST Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. EST Please email shelly.brown@gratiot.org if you will be participating in a site visit.
