Isabella County issues this Request for Bids (the “RFB”) to solicit bids from qualified professional firms for the provision of one (1) tow-behind debris blower. The County intends to enter into an agreement with the chosen firm for the purchase of one (1) tow-behind debris blower. The County desires a towable (behind a Gator-type of utility vehicle) that is equivalent or superior to a Buffalo Turbine Model BT-CKB4. The unit must have wirelessly controlled 360° nozzle rotation and throttle control. It must also be trailer mounted and have a minimum 25 hp, gasoline powered engine.
To be considered, three (3) copies of a bid must be received by the Administrator/Controller’s Office at the Isabella County Building, Room 205, 200 N. Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. In addition, a PDF copy is to be emailed to Deputy Administrator/Controller, Nicole F. Frost at nfrost@isabellacounty.org. Isabella County reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted. Bids submitted will be evaluated by County personnel as determined by the County Administrator/Controller, with final approval by the Board of Commissioners.
