ITB-10-29 - Three (3) 9 Foot Wing Plow Installed behind Scrapper Mounts

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of this specification to purchase three (3) 9ft, right side behind scraper mounted wing, for mounting on tandem axle, 66,000 GVW, snow plow truck with an underbody scraper blade. The tandem axle truck will be mounted with a 14ft dump body with slide in combination body. On delivery owners vehicle shall be completely equipped with all features necessary for its mounting and operation. The snow plow shall be built in accordance with all FMVSS, OSHA, MIOSHA, and ANSI standards. It must be the latest model in current production, satisfactory to meet the performance and design characteristics required in the specification. The date of delivery and installation of the wing plow must be submitted in writing. It is essential to the department’s ability to meet its scheduled build-up of its winter maintenance fleet and its ability to maintain the roads in a safe manner.
