Project Scope for 2022 Guardrail Safety Project #030122

Remove or remove and replace guardrail, including grading and all necessary materials for installation to comply with the latest MDOT Specs. Contractor MUST be a MDOT prequalified guardrail contractor.
Scope Area:
Complete 10 guardrail locations and 14 post mounted guardrail reflector locations on county roads in 9 townships across Macomb County.
Maintaining Traffic
Must follow the current MMUTCD and MDOT Maintaining Traffic Typicals. The majority of the contract is 2 lane roads with some left turn lanes and right turn lanes.

Prospective bidders must utilize Bid Express® to access the plans and proposal from the website
www.bidexpress.com. It will be the bidder’s responsibility to submit their bid through Bid Express®.

Prospective bidders must have current prequalification with the Michigan Department of
