22-20 - FOOD WAREHOUSE FREEZER ADDITION & BUILDING RENOVATIONS PROJECT

The project consists of all necessary prep to perform work in the Food Warehouse Building as follows:
A.Installation of foundation system with associate sitework and alteration of existing truckwells, removal of existing OH doors, etc. as required to install the new outdoor freezer.
B.Installation of new roof top condensing units
1.Structural steel work with the new condensing units is included.
2.Associated roof work associated with installation of the new condensing units(sawcutting/removal of BUR and metal deck for connections and walkway padinstallation. Patching of BUR where old condensing units associated with theexisting cooler scheduled for demolition are removed.
3.Painting of all new steel and touch up of existing steel associated with supportof the new condensing units.
C.Removal of the existing walk-in cooler and a new expanded walk-in cooler.
1.Relocation of existing power and technology for workstations relocated due to thenew expanded cooler.
2.Removal and re-installation of existing steel guardrail with new concrete filled steelbollards, with prep and repainting of existing guardrail and painting of new bollards.
3.Associated mechanical and electrical alterations to the expanded walk-in cooler asrequired including revisions to the existing fire suppression system.
D.Freezer and cooler will be supplied by others for installation under this contract.
E.Installation of a new generator.
F.Contractor shall include in his/her proposal procurement of all material including anyoffsite storage and all necessary overtime, shift premium time, etc. required tosubstantially complete the project no later than December 30, 2020. All interior workshall be done on 2nd shift so as to not interfere with the operations of the FoodWarehouse. This work is part of the Cares Act and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act.
