RFB-67-14 - Snow Removal Services

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to select a vendor to offering the most competitive price. The County of Macomb (hereinafter referred to as the “County”), is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced contractors to perform Snow Removal Services for the “2014-2015 Winter Season,” including plowing and salting for parking lots, drive areas, sidewalks and steps; the County reserves the right to exercise an option to renew for the “2014-2015 Winter Season.” The County reserves the right to split or abstract any or all proposals and award multiple contracts. It is in the intent of these specifications to cover snow removal services for various County locations on an as needed basis. With a view to obtaining the most acceptable services, these specifications cover the general requirements. Recommendations by proposers are encouraged and will be reviewed and evaluated based on the best interest of the County. Bidders should note that a RFB is considered to be under evaluation from the due date until contract award. The contracting officer is restricted from giving any information relative to the “progress” of the evaluation during this time, except as described in other areas of this RFB and as required to administer the evaluation process.
