0249-0196 - 2021 Manhole Rehabilitation Program

The work to be performed under this contract consists of locating, exposing, and repairing the interior and chimney exterior of various sanitary manholes within the project limits noted on the plans. This work shall include, but is not limited to; excavating and removing existing concrete, asphalt or gravel and/or lawn areas, reconstructing the chimney, preparation of the surface, both interior and exterior, reconstructing the bench and channel, tuck pointing interior pipes, applying an external seal, replacing and raising the frame and cover, and any required restoration. The extent of repairs may not be known or verified until the contractor exposes the structure for the proposed work items. Quantities may increase or decrease, additional work may be added or work deleted as conditions require with the Engineer’s approval.
