Sealed bids for the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Open Cut Repairs project will be received by the Clerk of the Owner, the Township of Macomb, 54111 Broughton Road, Macomb, Michigan 48042 until 10:15 am on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at which time the bids will be publicly opened. This project will be evaluated on a qualification-based selection process. Each proposal will be evaluated and scored based on its price, workplan, staff experience, and schedule. As such, proposal prices will not be read at bid opening.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of defective sanitary sewers by open cut repairs, rehabilitation of sanitary sewer structures, removal and replacement of concrete and asphalt pavements, and other related items of work as well as restoration. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that the operations do not interfere with the functioning of the sewer, in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by the Engineer.
