Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Bidding Documents. The project Pitchford Park project consists of 700 Feet of 10” Sanitary Sewer, 490 Feet of 6” PVC SDR 23.5 Sanitary Service Leads, 370 Feet of 8” CL 54 D.I. Water Main, 425 Feet of 1.5” HDPE SDR 9 Water Service, 1,430 Feet of 12” CL IV Concrete Storm Sewer, 550 Feet of 21” CL IV Concrete Storm Sewer, 1,580 Feet of Concrete Curbs, 27,600 Square Feet of 4” Concrete Pathway, 4,380 Square Feet of Concrete Integral Walk and Curb, 4 inch, 1,675 Tons of Bituminous Pavement, one Comfort Station structure, one Pavilion structure, one Dog Park Entry structure, two Court Sun Shade structures, and all related work in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by the Engineer.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETINGwill be held at the project site, located at the Township of Macomb Townhall Board Room, 54111 Broughton Road, Macomb, Michigan 48042, at 10:00am on October 11, 2022. All bidders must attend this pre-bid meeting. A sign-in sheet will be executed to verify attendance. Only bids received from Contractors in attendance at the meeting will be opened. All other bids will be rejected as non-responsive. The purpose of this meeting is to present an overview of the proposed work and to provide an opportunity for prospective bidders to ask specific questions concerning the project. The minutes of the Pre-Bid meeting will be issued via addendum and will be made part of the Contract Documents for this project.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked “Pitchford Park”. Bidders are to submit one hard copy and one electronic copy on a flash drive in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid, payable without condition to the Township of Macomb as security for the acceptance of this contract. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid issued by an approved Surety Company and executed by the bidder, may be furnished in lieu of a certified check.
