RFP-2016-03 - 33’ Lift Equipped Medium Heavy Duty Transit Buses

Summary of Specifications:
The Mass Transportation Authority (Agency) requests Proposals for the manufacture and delivery of two (2) 33’ lift equipped medium heavy duty diesel transit buses with seating for twenty-six (26) passengers and two (2) additional wheelchair positions, and all associated operating and maintenance materials and manuals, spare parts and any testing equipment, if applicable, in accordance with the terms and conditions as set forth in RFP 2016-03. There is also an option to purchase up to five (5) additional 33’ Lift Equipped Medium Heavy Duty Transit Buses and all associated training, operating and maintenance materials and manuals, spare parts and any testing equipment within five (5) years of Contract signing. Proposers shall submit a floor plan for the bus proposed. The Contract shall be a firm-fixed-price Contract. This Request for Proposal is strictly a flow thru procurement performed by the Mass Transportation Authority on behalf of the Vocational Independence Program (V.I.P.) in Flint, Michigan.
