Summary of Specifications:
Request For Proposal #2014-16 45’ CNG Powered Over The Road (OTR) Coach Bus PURPOSE: The Mass Transportation Authority (Agency) requests Proposals for the manufacture and delivery of 45’ CNG Powered Over The Road (OTR) Coach Bus and all associated training, operating and maintenance materials and manuals in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in RFP 2014-16. Contractors shall submit bus floor plans with wheelchair lifts.
DUE DATE: Sealed proposals must be received by the Mass Transportation Authority, located at 1401 S. Dort Highway, Flint, MI 48503 at the Administration Building on or before 3:00 P.M. (EST), Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Proposals submitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Late proposals shall not be considered.

SCOPE OF WORK Description of the Work to be Done The Mass Transportation Authority (Agency) requests Proposals for the manufacture and delivery of 45’ CNG Powered Over The Road (OTR) Coach Bus and all associated training, operating and maintenance materials and manuals in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in RFP 2014-16. Contractors shall submit bus floor plans for bus with wheelchair lifts. The Contract shall be a firm-fixed-price Contract.
Specifically, the Agency is requesting the following types of buses: Up to eight (8), 45’ CNG Powered Over The Road (OTR) Coach Buses with the option to purchase up to 20 additional 45’ CNG Powered Over The Road (OTR) Coach Buses within five (5) years of contract signing.
