2021-10 IFB Asphalt Replacement
The MTA will issue a Invitation for Bid on October 19, 2021 for pavement repairs at our Grand Blanc Maintenance Building and our downtown Flint Transfer Center parking lot. Bids shall be submitted on or before 2:00 p.m. Local Time, Friday, November 5, 2021 at the MTA’s offices at 1401 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI or Electronically at Bidnet Direct www.bidnetdirect.com. Specifications may be obtained at https://www.mtaflint.org/purchasing/ on or after October 19, 2021.
The MTA reserves the right to waive any informality in the invitation for bid; to reject any or all bids; and to make any award which it considers to be in the best interest of the MTA. The MTA reserves the right to use whatever reasonable and prudent evaluation techniques it deems appropriate.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after submission.

A Pre-Proposal meeting will be held at the MTA Rides To Wellness located at 1717 S. Dort Highway, Flint, Michigan 48503 on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. E.D.T. followed by a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Introduction and Requirement review meeting. All Proposers are highly encouraged to attend this Pre-Proposal meeting and sub-contractors are also encouraged to attend.
Proposers are also encouraged to attend the following DBE meeting for the opportunity to meet potential DBE subcontractors and to review requirements for accomplishing the 1.5% DBE project participation goal. During this meeting Proposers will be asked to identify possible subcontracting opportunities and be prepared to discuss them with DBE subcontractors.
