Summary of Specifications:
MTA is soliciting proposals from qualified Individuals/Companies to provide Resident Inspector Services for the manufacture of sixteen (16), 35’ LPG Powered Lift Equipped Optional Medium Duty Transit Buses at the Blue Bird Corporation facility in Fort Valley, Georgia. The vehicles must be manufactured according to the specifications of MTA’s RFP #2013-34, 35’ LPG Powered Lift Equipped Optional Medium Duty Transit Buses. Resident Inspector will be required to work 24 hours per week starting the week of January 5, 2015 and continue until all vehicles are completed, inspected, all deficiencies are repaired and released for shipment to the MTA. Vehicles are to be delivered to MTA at a rate of three (3) per week and shall include a list of repaired deficiencies along with a signed release form for each of the vehicles. Contract award will occur on or before November 3, 2014 with notification of award to successful Proposer occurring the same day.
MTA makes no representations, warranties or agreements with respect to this RFP. In addition, MTA makes no commitment to purchase any products or services or take any other action, including but not limited to, awarding a contract to the individual/firm submitting the most qualified responsive proposal. MTA reserves the right to amend or cancel this RFP at any time for any or no reason. All amendments to this RFP shall be in writing.
This acquisition is funded through State and Federal Capital Grants.
