Summary of Specifications:
Mass Transportation Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified Medical Insurance Providers for multiple levels of Medical Insurance Benefits for full time employees and eligible dependents effective January 1, 2017. MTA is looking for a strategic, long-term partnership with the new insurer. HealthPlus has been a valued partner with MTA since 2011, which illustrates our willingness to obtain a lasting relationship.  The successful Proposer, during the term of the contract, will advise MTA of cost saving opportunities, participate in open enrollment sessions, and consult with appropriate personnel to develop programs for the betterment of MTA staff members. This is a “Best Value” procurement with a contract term of one (1) year with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods upon mutual agreement and have an effective date of January 1, 2017.
